5 days - 4 nights

Immediately after arrival we drive approx. 160 km (approx. 2.5 hours) from Vientiane to Vang Vieng. Vang Vieng, a village of 25,000 residents, is a true landscape paradise on the Song River. We explore this area with an expert German-speaking tour guide. Drive to Vientiane, the political, cultural and economic center of Laos. Vientiane, an interesting city that has developed immensely in recent years. Today, 650,000 residents live in the country's capital. 10 years ago, the capital of Laos was still a village, today shops, shopping centers, Internet cafés and well-developed streets dominate the cityscape. Nevertheless, the village character has by no means disappeared. Scenic markets, rattling tuk tuks, overloaded mopeds remind us of earlier times. What is unique are the historical monuments, the traditional culture and lively history, which we will be introduced to by a German-speaking tour guide on a city tour.
