Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi.
The image of Hanoi has changed dramatically in the last few years. State-of-the-art hotels, excellent restaurants, extremely tasteful boutiques, fine art galleries determine the cityscape. In the evening, visit the traditional water puppet theater. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi city tour.
In the morning we take a city tour and visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Single Stake Pagoda, the Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon we visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple and stroll through the picturesque old town. The city tour ends with a rickshaw tour in the old town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay. Cruise in a Chinese junk through the gigantic island world. Lunch and dinner on board.
In the morning you will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Ha Long Bay.
Ha Long Bay - a masterpiece of nature! Over 3,000 islands rise from the emerald green, crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Tokin. Grottoes, jagged rocks, wonderful beaches - in the foreground old Chinese junks. An indescribable picture. The highlight of this exquisite tour: a cruise in a Chinese junk through the gigantic island world.

Day 4: With the junk through the island world of Ha Long Bay. Brunch - drive to Hanoi and flight to Hue. We reach the port of Halong Bay again at around 12 noon. Drive to Hanoi and flight to Hue.

Day 05: Hue - boat trip on the Perfume River & Sightseeing.
Today we visit the former capital and imperial city of Hue, which was once considered the cultural, religious and political center of Vietnam.
In the morning we take a boat trip on the “Perfume River”, the “River of Pleasant Smells”, where we visit the Linh Mu Pagoda, the landmark of Hue, built on the hill. We also visit an imperial tomb, the remains of the imperial palace and the citadels. Overnight in Hue.
Day 06: Drive from Hue to Danang and Hoi An.
Scenic drive by car (bus) from Hue over the “Pass of the Sea Clouds”, from where we have a fantastic view of the China Sea to Danang. There we visit the “Marble Mountains”, where centuries-old cult sites can be seen in mystical caves. We then visit the Cham Museum. Continue to Hoi An (approx. 30 km). Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 07: Hoi An sightseeing, swimming at China Beach.
In the morning you will take a trip to the ruins of My Son, the sacred center of the former Cham Kingdom. In the afternoon we visit the delightful old picturesque trading and port town of Hoi An with historic houses, many tasteful boutiques and art shops. The small streets have a mix of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese culture.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 08: Hoi An – Danang - Flight from Danang to Saigon.
Drive from Hoi An to Danang airport. Flight from Danang to Saigon. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to your centrally located city hotel. The rest of the day can be used as freetime. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 09: Saigon – city tour & Cu Chi Tunnels.
The cosmopolitan city of Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, presents itself in a new look. While a short time ago bicycles and rickshaws dominated the street scene, you can now see modern high-rise buildings, mopeds, cars, new hotel buildings, great shops and residential buildings. The mysterious Asian flair has remained. In the morning we drive to the tunnels of Cu Chi, 70 km from Ho Chi Minh. During the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong built a 200 km long and up to 40 m deep tunnel system that served as a strategic base, command center, but also as a medical station and living area. Of course, this tunnel system was attacked daily by the Americans. In the afternoon we visit Ho Chi Minh, which was built in the 18th century. built Giac Lam Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh, where the Vietnamese pray for good luck and health. We also visit the War Museum and the Presidential Palace. The Notre Dame Church and the old main post office are relics of the French colonial era. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 10: The Mekong Delta – drive to My Tho and Can Tho.
You can access the region's numerous waterways by boat. We drive to the Cajaput Forest, where the Viet Cong's secret base was during the war. Continue to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 11: “Sunrise Breakfast” in the Mekong Delta – “Floating Market”.
Breakfast on the boat at sunrise in the Mekong Delta. Afterwards we drive to the densely populated “floating market”, where motifs are almost intrusive for video enthusiasts and photographers. We then take a boat trip through an impassable jungle landscape to Vinh Long along duria, mangosteen and citrus plantations. We take a lovely walk through the farming villages along the canal. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 12: Flight Can Tho – Phu Quoc.
Morning transfer to the airport – flight from An Tho to Phu Quoc. 1:00 p.m./1:45 p.m. Transfer to the booked hotel. Overnight stay.
Dream island of Phu Quoc
Phu Quoc, the largest Vietnamese island, is located in the Thai Sea, close to Cambodia. 70,000 inhabitants live on the 50 km long and 3-30 km wide island, which is still relatively untouched by international tourism and is considered a real insider tip. Here you can still experience the real Vietnam. Nevertheless, there are already a few hotels on the island with up to first class accommodation. Phu Quoc is a true paradise for nature lovers: dense, tropical jungle (up to 600 m high), coconut palms, fruit and pepper plantations and endless, untouched dream beaches.
Day 13: Beach vacation on Phu Quoc.
Day 14: Beach vacation on Phu Quoc.
Day 15: Beach vacation on Phu Quoc.
Day 16: Beach vacation on Phu Quoc.
Day 17: Beach vacation on Phu Quoc.
Day 18: Phu Quoc. Transfer to the airport. Flight Phu Quoc – Saigon.
