Overnight stay on a houseboat in the jungle on the River Kwai.
We will pick you up from the airport and take a short but intense trip into the jungle on the River Kwai. Drive to the “floating market” of Damnoen Saduak. Elephant safari on the River Kwai. Highlight of the tour: a romantic jungle stay on a houseboat on the River Kwai with a raft ride and a refreshing shower under a tropical waterfall.
Day 1: Transfer from the airport. You will be picked up at the airport in Bangkok with your name tag at EXIT 3 and taken to a nearby 3* hotel. The hotel is only 7 km from the airport (25 km into the city to Bangkok (not suitable for a drive into the city). The hotel inland is cozy, has a small pool and a restaurant.
Day 2: Bangkok - sensational railway market - floating market - "bridge on the quay" - raft ride and "showering under a tropical waterfall. Jungle of Sai Yok. Overnight stay on a romantic houseboat in the jungle. F.A. Your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. Bus ride along huge salt fields to a small coconut farm. In front of the “Floating Market” we see a unique spectacle - the quaint train market of Maeklong. Shortly before the train arrives, the market women fold up their stalls so that the train can pass. When the bell rings and the procession is over, the stall is folded back down and the market business continues. We then take a boat trip through the narrow waterways to the famous “floating market” of Damnoen Saduak, where market women with their wide-brimmed straw hats and colorful sarongs sell their goods from the boat, just like they did centuries ago. Fascinating to see how people haggle, exchange and sell. Drive to Sai Yok. After settling into the houseboat (simple but very clean - no mosquitoes!) we take a raft to a waterfall to shower. You will enjoy it - a unique experience! Pure nature. Excellent dinner, cozy get-together and overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 3: Sai Yok – Elephant Safari (included) – Bangkok.
Morning drive to Kanchanaburi. Optional: Elephant ride on the River Kwai.
On the way we go on an elephant safari and ride on the backs of the pachyderms through the jungle and the Kwai River. Drive to Bangkok.
Transfer (according to tariff) to Pattaya or Cha Am/Hua Hin can be carried out on the same day.
A flight to Koh Samui or Phuket on the same day is also possible.
