Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi.
You will be picked up in Hanoi with your name tag. Transfer to the booked hotel.

Day 02: Private city tour of Hanoi - with a German-speaking tour guide.
You will be picked up at the airport and taken to a centrally located hotel in the capital of Vietnam. Afterwards we visit the beautiful and interesting capital of Vietnam. The image of Hanoi has changed greatly in the last few years. State-of-the-art hotels, excellent restaurants, extremely tasteful boutiques and fine art galleries determine the cityscape.
We visit the one-post pagoda, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon we visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple and stroll through the picturesque old town. The city tour ends with a rickshaw tour in the old town. In the evening, visit the traditional water puppet theater. Overnight in Hanoi.



Day 03: Hanoi - Sapa
Sa Pa, about 350 km from Hanoi, is at an altitude of about 1600 m, lies along the Chinese border and borders the province of Lao Cai to the northwest. Scenic mountain landscape, stepped terraced fields. You see mystical caves and heavily laden water buffaloes cross your path. We go to the various mountain peoples, who you can still experience in their ethnicity.
The highest mountains are over 3000 m. The climate is very pleasant for us Europeans. Many different tribes inhabit the highlands and we will learn a lot about their lives, their habits and traditions from our German-speaking tour guides. It is mainly the habitat of the H’mong, Dao and Tay. Experience the real North Vietnam!
Sapa can be reached by car, on the new, high mountain roads, we use a Toyota Fortuner. The drive takes about 4 hours from Hanoi - panoramic drive! In the late afternoon we take a short hike through the rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. We experience spectacular landscapes of the Hoang Lien Son mountains.




Day 04: Hike in Sapa.
After breakfast we visit a Red Dao village. On the way we see a spectacular waterfall. The Red Dao women are dressed with colorful red embroidery and coins on their clothing. They wear a red scarf on their heads. Hike along local trails to a Red Zao village. Return to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 5: Sapa - Bac Ha Weekender Market – return to Hanoi.
In the morning drive to Bac Ha to the weekly market, which takes place every Sunday. An unimaginable picture. Hilltribes dress in their colorful traditional costumes to exchange goods or buy and sell. On the way, boat on the Chay River to Coc Ly, experience the beautiful landscape from the boat. visit the Trung Do village with Tay tribe.
Return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.






Day 06: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay. Cruise in a Chinese junk through the gigantic
Island world. Lunch and dinner on board.
In the morning you will be picked up from the hotel and travel to Ha Long Bay with the Junk Company and an English-speaking guide.
Ha Long Bay - a masterpiece of nature! Over 3,000 islands rise from the emerald green, crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Tokin. Grottoes, jagged rocks, wonderful beaches - in the foreground old Chinese junks. An indescribable picture. The highlight of this exquisite tour: a cruise in a Chinese junk through the gigantic island world.
Private cabins with bathroom, restaurant with good food (meals without drinks included), sun deck, swimming in a bay - cave tour - an impressive experience!





Day 07: With the junk through the island world of Ha Long Bay. Brunch - drive to Hanoi.
At around 12 noon we reach the port of Halong Bay again. Drive to Hanoi. Overnight stay.


Day 08: Transfer to the airport from Hanoi to Bangkok.
The day is at leisure. Go on a shopping spree. You can still shop really cheaply in Hanoi. Transfer to the airport.
