Day 01: Drive from Pattaya to Aranjapathet. Continue to Battambang.
Approximately 4 hour drive to the border to Aranjapathet. We recommend a VIP visa so that you can get through the border quickly. Continue to Battambang, which we reach in about 1 hour. Overnight stay in a good boutique resort.
Day 02: Battambang - sightseeing in the 11th century. The city of Battambang, founded with around 250,000 inhabitants. the 2nd largest city in Cambodia - a charming small town with well-preserved buildings in the French colonial style.
We look at the temple complexes from the 11th century and take a short ride outside the city on the spectacular “Bamboo Train”. Overnight stay in a good boutique resort.
Day 03: Battambang – Tatai – Romantic jungle adventure in Tatai. FA.
Approximately 5-hour drive from Battambang through the Cardamom Mountains to Tatai. Then paradise awaits you! We take the boat to our First Class Eco Lodge Tatai 4- Rivers Floating Lodge. Our lodge can only be reached by boat. Dinner is included. 4- Rivers Floating Lodge - First Class: Luxurious tent villas, perfectly furnished (approx. 40 square meters), await us right on the river. Each of these villas has a view of the Cardamom Mountains. Pure nature! All villas are equipped with a bathroom and shower. Kayak boats are available and the complex also offers a gourmet restaurant.
Day 04: Shower under a tropical waterfall. Mangrove jungle. FA.
Today we take a day trip to the nearby Tatai Waterfalls for a shower under the tropical waterfall. Continue to the huge mangrove jungle. When you return, treat yourself to a relaxing massage (for a fee).
Other interesting excursions (including jungle trekking “Rainforst Symphony”, sunset cruise, etc.) are offered locally. The stay in one of the eco-lodges can also be extended.
Day 05: Tatai – Koh Kong – border with Thailand – drive to Koh Chang – Pattaya.
The trip to the Koh Kong border only takes 1 hour and is included. Continue to the border to Koh Chang or Pattaya, or airport or Bangkok for a fee (see table). The popular holiday island of Koh Chang is only 2 hours from the border.
