You will be greeted with a name sign at EXIT No. 3 at Bangkok airport and taken to the centrally located 4* hotel. The day is at leisure. Overnight stay in the centrally located First Class Hotel Royal Benja in Bangkok. In the immediate vicinity is the Skytrain station, street markets shops, department stores, restaurants, bars…

Day 2: Bangkok. “Special” city tour (optional).
The special city tour – life in Bangkok. Today you can organize your day freely. Relax by the pool, go shopping. If you don't know Bangkok yet, you shouldn't miss taking a city tour to see the outstanding temples and glittering gold palaces of this cosmopolitan metropolis with your German-speaking tour guide. On this tour you will get to know the “real life” in Bangkok, the city of over a million people, with your German-speaking tour guide. He picks you up from the hotel lobby at 9:00 a.m. and takes you privately on the Skytrain, over the rooftops of Bangkok, on the subway, on the public bus, on the express boat on the Chao Phya River and the country's typical rattling Tuk tuks. In addition to the outstanding sights such as the fairytale Wat Phra Kaew, the temple of the highly revered “Emerald Buddha” and the royal palace, you drive past the river at Wat Aroon, the “Temple of the Dawn” and also see treasures that are rarely or not at all visited by tourists at. Be sure to visit the largest monastery and 1st University of Bangkok, where the 46 m long and 15 m high “Reclining Buddha” is located. A walk through China Town is also planned. It will be a very interesting and intensive tour of the cosmopolitan metropolis.

Day 3: Bangkok - 'Floating Market' - 'Bridge on the Quay' - raft ride and 'shower under a tropical waterfall. Jungle of Sai Yok. Overnight stay on a romantic houseboat in the jungle.
Your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. Bus ride along huge salt fields to a small coconut farm. In front of the “Floating Market” we see a unique spectacle - the quaint train market of Maeklong. Shortly before the train arrives, the market women fold up their stalls so that the train can pass. When the bell rings and the procession is over, the stall is folded back down and the market business continues. We then take a boat trip through the narrow waterways to the famous “floating market” of Damnoen Saduak, where market women with their wide-brimmed straw hats and colorful sarongs sell their goods from the boat, just like they did centuries ago. Fascinating to see how people haggle, exchange and sell. Drive to Sai Yok. After settling into the houseboat (simple but very clean - no mosquitoes!) we take a raft to a waterfall to shower. You will enjoy it - a unique experience! Pure nature. Excellent dinner, cozy get-together and overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 4: Sai Yok – Elephant Safari (optional) – Suphanburi – Ayutthaya.
Morning drive to Kanchanaburi. Optional: Elephant ride on the River Kwai. On the way you can go on an elephant safari for a fee and ride on the backs of the pachyderms through the jungle and the Kwai River. After lunch we take the train over the breathtaking wooden bridges of the River Kwais through the “Valley of Death”. Afterwards we visit the infamous “Bridge on the River Kwai”.
After lunch, we drive off the tourist route through the rice chamber of Thailand to Supanburi, where we see a temple and a huge fish pond in the former capital of Thailand, in the historic city of Ayutthaya. Overnight stay in a first class hotel on the river.

Day 5: The “holy city” Ayutthaya – Bangkok. We visit Ayutthaya, the splendid capital of Siam for over 400 years. Ayutthaya used to be the country's government center. 33 kings, godlike and aloof, ruled the city founded by King U-Thong in 1350. Hundreds of magnificent temple complexes were built within the city walls. The economy and trade with foreign countries flourished. Merchants from all parts of the world (16th century) met in Ayutthaya. Although the city was completely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767, the (partially renovated) ruins of over 500 temples and palaces give an idea of the splendor of the former metropolis. We visit the excavation site of the "Holy City", a temple with a gold-plated, colossal Buddha figure, the largest "sitting Buddha" in Thailand, and Wat Yai Mongkol, a temple complex popular with the population and containing the city's landmark, the “Great Chedi of Naresuan” is located.
