Koh Samed
Koh Samed(also Koh Samet) is an island in the Gulf of Thailand and about 6.5km from Rayong. You can reach Koh Samed from Pattaya in about 2.5 hours. Samed has been a popular travel destination for both foreign and local tourists for decades. In Samed we recommend Sai Kaew Beach, which is about a kilometer long and powder white. The best time to travel to Koh Samed is the cooler months of November to March. During this time the temperatures rarely exceed 30 degrees. In April and May they can rise to 40 degrees.
